SWIMMINGSPORTS DATA VISUALIZATION
OBJECTIVE
The objective of the Sports Data Visualization project is to develop a professional sports media package that effectively utilizes augmented HUD (heads-up display) animations to present real-time data visualizations of an athlete or sport and research the specific movement and physics involved. This project involved creating a Style Guide and producing a visually stunning and informative video. The project aims to demonstrate proficiency in sports data visualization, animation, and graphic design, while also encouraging creativity and innovation in presenting complex information in an engaging and informative manner.
PROCESS
Tackling the Sports Data Visualization project, our group set out with a shared objective. At the outset of our collaboration, we recognized the importance of establishing a cohesive visual identity to guide our creative endeavors. Through collaborative brainstorming sessions and iterative design discussions, Sandra collectively crafted a comprehensive Style Guide. Central to our group's efforts in producing our video leveraging our research, Ha Anh and I created augmented HUD animations. I also worked on the sound to syn with the video which was put together by Sandra. Each group member contributed their unique skills and expertise to ensure that the video met our shared vision of excellence.
