OBJECTIVE

The objective of this Vue.js and Lumen API Integration project is to connect a Vue.js front-end to a Lumen API. The primary goal is to build a web application that interacts seamlessly with our own API build as well as an external API build. This project embodies both Front-end and Back-end integration, data fetching, display, user interaction, error handling, and responsiveness.

PROCESS

Embarking on this project, my project partner, Ha Anh Le, and I decided to craft a captivating one-page website that showcased a fictional lip makeup brand, marrying functionality with aesthetic appeal. To kickstart the project, Ha Anh and I collaborated on mapping out a comprehensive mood board that encapsulated our vision for the website's look and feel. Drawing inspiration from contemporary design trends that would captivate visitors from the moment they landed on the site. As the project unfolded, I took on the task of creating the backbone of the website: the Lumen API. I designed and implemented the API to serve as a channel through which data would flow between the front-end and back-end components of the website. Simultaneously, Ha Anh immersed herself in the creative realm of front-end design, harnessing the power of SASS to elevate the visual aesthetics of the website to new heights.
